It’s been exactly two months since I left The New Children’s Museum, and last night I had the unique opportunity to see an exhibition by @designreynoso that I curated, but that was installed after I left. Teatro Piñata is a mesmerizing world accessed through a mysterious portal in the form of a stage, and comes from the big heart of David Israel Reynoso in collaboration with @spicy.picon @kurosh.yahyai @nicholasponting @parmesan_benet_ramsey @sj.calderon . Sorry-not sorry for the Jesus vibes of the photo, because this project is truly transcendent and I couldn’t be more humbled and enlightened by it and what it will do for the kids (and adults) who will soon bring it to life with their play. Opens November 11!
The installation El Más Allá by @aypanca opened this week! Proud of what @aypanca + @thenewchildrensmuseum + our community created together. Open now daily.
